All about our knife sheaths:
We handcraft all our leather knife sheaths, one at a time, using full-grain USA-tanned leather. I don’t mass-produce or use shortcuts. Just real leather, solid stitching, and a good bit of time. We take pride in our work and if you are disappointed give us a call.
We call this style of knife sheath a pancake knife sheath. We create every one of our knife sheaths to sit close to the body, which makes it easy to wear without feeling bulky. I also add two belt loops in each handcrafted sheath so it stays steady and doesn’t shift around while you move.
What makes our sheaths stand out:
Low-profile design sits close to the body — no bulk, no bounce
Dual belt loops keep the sheath steady while you move
Full-grain USA-tanned leather that molds to your knife and your body over time
Burnished and sealed edges for durability and a clean finish
Built for daily use — quiet, strong, and ten times longer-lasting than plastic or nylon
The leather starts off firm, which is what you want. After a few uses, it begins to break in and mold to your knife and your body. Over time, it’ll take on its own character and fit like we made it just for you. Me and my grandsons hand-cut and stitch every sheath, then burnish the edges smooth and seal it.
Plastic or nylon might get the job done, but leather not only feels better but lasts ten times longer. It’s quiet, strong, and looks great no matter how long or how often you use it.
I make these to fit a range of fixed-blade knives, but every knife is a little different. Take a quick measurement before you order to be sure it’ll fit right.
If you’re looking for something made with care, not off an assembly line, this knife sheath pancake is a solid choice. It’s built to last and made for real use.
